Feeling Your Pain

As we go through life, we continuously go through new experiences, new feelings, and new sensations. Some feelings are so intense they’re just literally unexplainable in words. Have you ever felt that type of hurt? Where you feel physical pain throughout your body? You lose all control to stay strong and you can’t stop the tears from running down, before you know it your whole face is wet and so is your neck and the collar of your shirt and you’re wondering how the hell your body can even produce that many tears.

Sometimes they are loud cries, where you’re screaming at the top of your lungs and you feel that pain in the middle of your throat, unable to hear anything but the sharp noise ringing in your head. And sometimes, there’s someone around, and they can’t see you like this, so you have to sit there, barely inhaling, silently taking that pain in your chest and drop in your stomach as you feel your heart racing at a hundred miles per hour. It feels like there isn’t enough air going into your body and it’s impossible to stand up, you feel broken.

Even then, you are strong. You are a warrior, you are capable, you have purpose. Even then, you can concur anything and every fucking thing. Whether or not you actually do is completely up to you. Will you give up this time because you feel pain, or will you move forward and continue on with your journey? Look at how far you’ve come. Look back at the things that broke you last year, two years ago, five years ago, you concurred it and made it here, now. And now, you’re here again, and you feel broken again. But you are not broken, you are having the experience of human. You have a heart, you’re capable of emotion, you feel things and baby that’s okay. But just like you feel this pain, I know you feel that spark deep inside you, I know you feel that you’re special, you know you have purpose on this earth. You weren’t meant to stop here. So take a break, breathe, allow yourself to feel what you have to feel, and move forward. The journey doesn’t end here.
